Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. Her previous roles included an presidential candidate as well as hosting a television show on MSNBC. She's often a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and an earlier co-host on the show The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would quit the show in the month of May 2021 in order to launch Breaking Points, a new independent project with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is co-hosting along with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has been featured on various networks' programs, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time with Bill Maher. As of the year 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball is able to attribute her fascination with politics to her experiences as a mom in the 2008 presidential primaries. Furthermore, she observed the US presidency election during her time in Jordan. She witnessed the impact it had on residents of her home country and was moved to see the international influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district for the 2010 election. She lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 to July 2015, she was host of the MSNBC show The Cycle. She was co-hosting The Cycle, a show on MSNBC, from June 2012 through July 2015.
